Volunteering with Devizes Arts Festival
The Devizes Arts Festival depends on a dedicated team of volunteers – without them, there simply wouldn’t be a festival. If you have time to spare and enjoy being part of something special, we’d love to hear from you.
We meet monthly throughout the year, with activity ramping up from January as we finalise the programme and begin marketing. We particularly need people with skills in marketing, social media, writing, IT, or general administration – but enthusiasm and commitment matter more than specific experience. Volunteering means getting to know the festival properly, having real input into how it runs, and being part of the team when June arrives.
Tasks range from programme planning and sponsor liaison to marketing, social media, leaflet distribution, technical support, and helping at venues during the festival fortnight. No experience is necessary – just a commitment to our ethos: bringing quality professional performances to Devizes and making them accessible to everyone.
