J.S.Monroe is the pseudonym of British writer Jon Stock. He lives in Wiltshire, and as well as six spy novels he is the author of five psychological thrillers including The Man On Hackpen Hill.

Kate Webb grew up on the edge of Salisbury Plain, and after studying in Durham returned to live in Wiltshire. She has written eight historical novels, several of which have been Sunday Times Top Ten Bestsellers. Laying out the Bones is her second cold-case crime novel featuring DI Matthew Lockyer. The series is set on Salisbury Plain and in the towns and villages surrounding it. In conversation Jon and Kate will be
discussing writing, crime fiction, and the joy of recreating places and landscapes.
