Rumour, band from West Midlands

Rumour (unplugged)

Sunday 9th June
2pm Three Crowns

Rumour is an Americana band from West Midlands. They started out as a three-piece acoustic band playing a mixture of covers and then mixed their own original
songs. Their second album was released in late summer 2023.

“Raised on River Blues is heritage rock at its best. There’s an underlying familiarity to the music, shaped by aspirational and uplifting hooks with enough resolving solos to satisfy lovers of the post Kossoff school of Dad Rock.” Pete Feenstra of Get Ready To Rock

Known for their electrifying live performances the band has toured nationally and abroad, playing a moody but upbeat alt-roots rock with an extensive instrumental arsenal including accordion, cello, mandolin and theremin!

They describe their music as ‘rootsy rockin’ psychedelica’. Others have described them as a ‘hillbilly Pink Floyd’!
